mi hermantio, pablo, returned with me from argentina! he lives in la ciudad de campana, which is a two hour bus ride from buenos aires. God moved in some incredible ways to bring him to the states (this is his first trip!), and even though we bought our tickets months apart, we were able to ride home next to each other. this was good for pablo because he was a little nervous about such a long flight. oh, and his visa is good for ten years!!! very cool.

anyway, pablo is an amazing artist who creates live paintings and already he’s been blessing a lot of people here with his gift. this past monday night we went to a gathering in redlands and, instead of taking photos, i decided to play around with my new elph camera. the video below (which took about two hours to edit) is the end result. not too shabby for a point ‘n shoot! i’ve never shot video before, so this is all pretty new to me. hope you enjoy it!

pablo will be around for a few more weeks, so if you’re in the area and want to see him paint live, let me know!

i intend to write a blog or two with in-depth details about my time in argentina…specifically about the NGO i worked with, Generadores de Cambio…but for now i wanted to share some images i shot on 35mm.

Even now, all possible feelings do not yet exist, there are still those that lie beyond our capacity and our imagination. From time to time, when a piece of music no one has ever written or a painting no one has ever painted, or something else impossible to predict, fathom or yet describe takes place, a new feeling enters the world. And then, for the millionth time in the history of feeling, the heart surges and absorbs the impact.

currently sitting at LAX, awaiting a plane which will take me to mexico city and lastly, buenos aires. i’ll be there for three weeks! one week to work with a friend’s NGO while the rest of the time will be spent loving on family/friends and hopefully a little networking. can’t wait!!!!!!!!!
