…the conductor…
in-between today’s assignments, my dad gave me a heads up that his train would soon be arriving to the colton yard soon. he was returning from yuma and this particular engine had the old southern pacific paint job and logo on it. before he pulled into the yard, he stopped the train for a couple of minutes so i could snap a few shots of him with the old logo.
my dad began working for southern pacific railroad over 30 years ago. it was bought out by union pacific a number of years ago and dad currently works there as a conductor.
